"Here is my secret. It is very simple. It is only with the Heart that one can see rightly; what is essential is invisible to the eye."
-The Little Prince
As the founder of YogaBox, Jennifer's hope is to create a mobile yoga experience that offers anyone, anywhere the fun, healing, and growth opportunities inherently found through yoga and mindfulness practices.
Jennifer White is a certified Yoga Instructor that loves sharing mindfulness and heart-centered practices with kids and adults alike. Her approach to sharing the gift of yoga is to offer a heart space where people can connect and discover their own individual gifts.
Jennifer is also a Licensed Master’s Level Social Worker offering tools to support healing through a variety of modalities. Her work primarily focuses on underserved or disenfranchised populations; most recently in a hospital setting and also public schools. She has also spent a large part of her career devoted to working with abused and neglected children. Jennifer is passionate about sharing yoga as a path to healing.
Jennifer's experience on her yoga mat began formally in 2010 and she has since completed extensive training; including 200 hr. Yoga Teacher Training, Anusara Immersions, the 95-hour Children’s Teacher Training, and 300 hr Advanced Teacher Training at Desert Song Healing Arts Center. She has been influenced by the Iyengar and Anusara traditions, as well as Depth Psychology, through her primary teacher Meg Byerlein. Through this work, her personal journey has led her back to her own heart and provided an opportunity to merge her love for serving others and sharing this gift of yoga. She is nourished by deeper study and is passionate about sharing yoga as a therapeutic tool to help others find their own answers to the important questions in their lives. She has especially seen the need for youth to have something of their own that comes from inside to guide them in the discovery of their unique gifts. It is her intention to offer the same generosity to others that she herself has experienced through yoga.
