Resources
Recently a cool Dad suggested I add a list of recommended books on the website, as he had been looking for some books to start conversations with his kids on emotions and how we can manage them. So, I turned to my own experiences both as a student and a teacher of yoga and this short list is a good beginning. Some are more specific to teens and that is reflected in the title. In my experience, there is no “it” book or tool that will ‘fix’ everything, rather it is simply what resonates for you and/or your child. Some of the books touch on subjects not often discussed, such as death and dying. In addition, a variety of traditions are represented. There is beauty in our differences, AND we all share humanity. Enjoy!
